For several months we have been formulating and planning new directions for Auction Corner in this coming year. We believe that current economic conditions have dictated these changes in our policy. We hope to better accomodate our past, present and future customers by expanding our services, and symplifying our procedures. First of all we will continue to conduct auctions. Our first auction this year will be on Saturday March 20, at 9:30 a.m. this auction will consist of many items from the Virginia Adams estate from Newton, two other estates and consignments. Future auctions will be held on the first Saturday of every month commencing at 9:30 a.m. Our next auction will be the first saturday in May which falls on the 8th. The merchandise sold at thes auctions will consist of the contents from small estates and consignments. These auctions will be held inside the restaurant building and surrounding area at our facility. We have and are now accepting consignments for these auctions. Larger Estate Auctions will be conducted on site or at a different time than our regular (once a month) auctions, and those times will be posted on our web site. Secondly, we have converted our main Auction facility building into a consignment store. This store will be open six days a week,Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. We have been and are now accepting quality consignments of Antiques, collectables, and very good quality used merchandise to be sold in this venue. Thirdly, we are also opening an on-line store in which customers can place their items on E-Bay or other on-line companies. Last but not least, we have and will accept items from Estates to be priced in our store for a reasonable time period, if they have not sold they will be placed in one of our Saturday auctions. We are presently pricing over 3000 items which will be for sale on March 8th. Customers will be encouraged to leave bids or make offers on any item priced for sale. (No reasonable offers will be refused.)
